By: Representatives Powell of the 23rd, Parham of the 122nd, Bulloch of the 180th, McCall of the 90th and Porter of the 143rd

To amend Code Section 40_6_315 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to headgear and eye_protective devices for motorcycle riders, so as to provide that a violation of said Code section shall not be a moving traffic violation; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

Code Section 40_6_315 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to headgear and eye_protective devices for motorcycle riders, is amended by adding a new subsection (e) to read as follows:

"(e) A violation of this Code section shall not be a moving traffic violation for purposes of Code Section 40_5_57."

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
