| A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
|
1- 1 To amend Code Section 40-6-315 of the Official Code of1- 2 Georgia Annotated, relating to headgear and
eye-protective
1- 3 devices for motorcycle riders, so as to provide that a
1- 4 violation of said Code section shall not be a moving traffic
1- 5 violation; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
1- 6 purposes.
1- 7 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
1- 8 SECTION 1.
1- 9 Code Section 40-6-315 of the Official Code of Georgia
1-10 Annotated, relating to headgear and eye-protective devices
1-11 for motorcycle riders, is amended by adding a new subsection
1-12 (e) to read as follows:
1-13 "(e) A violation of this Code section shall not be a
1-14 moving traffic violation for purposes of Code Section
1-15 40-5-57."
1-16 SECTION 2.
1-17 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
1-18 repealed. |
